Samuel Hodson
I Samuel Hodson of Fen Stanton in the county of Huntingdon, shopkeeper, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and understanding do hereby make this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
I do hereby order will and direct my friend John Curtis of Swavesey in the county of Cambridge Dairy man and jobber and my dear wife Elizabeth Hodson as soon as conveniently can be after my decease to make sale and dispose of all that my top behold messuage cottage or tenement situated and being in Swavesey the aforesaid, with the members , appurtenance and hereditaments thereto belonging with the fee simple and inheritance thereof by public auction on private contract to such person or persons are shall be willing to become for purchase or purchaser thereof, his, her, and their heirs and Assigns for the most money and the best price that can be reasonably had on obtained for the same. And my mind and will is, and I do hereby declare that when any person or persons shall become a purchase or all purchasers of the said or tenement with the members appurtenances and carried him at a hereditament its thereto belonging their receipt or receipts of my set executor and a executrix shall be a good and sufficient discharge to such purchaser of purchase earns for the purchase money which Shell therein be acknowledged fork Express to be received. And I do hereby constitute and Appoint my said friend John Curtis of Swavesey the aforesaid dairyman and jobber, and my said wife Elizabeth Hodson executor and executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills and testament spiny as any time he to form made. In Witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament set my hand this 16th day of June in the year of our Lord, 1848.
