John Osborn
In the name of God amen, I John Osborn of Old Malbrow in the parish of Holm Cultram in the County of Cumberland being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blefsed be almighty God for the same do make publish and declare this my last Will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ann Osborn all the goods or household furniture in my dwelling house at Malbrow aforesaid secondly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Carr the sum of forty pounds thirdly I give and bequeath unto my grandson John Carr the sum of thirty pounds fourthly I give and bequeath unto my servent Jane Graham the sum of five pounds and lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattles of what kind or nature soever I give and bequeath the same to my daughters Elizabeth Bendale and Mary Holiday whom I hereby appoint joint Executrixes of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine John Osborn ( L S ) signed sealed published and declared by the above named John Osborn to be his last Will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnefses In the presence of the Testator.
