In the name of God Amen. I John Lawson of Biglands in the parish of Aikton and County of Cumberland Yeoman being sick and weak of body but of perfect mind and memory blessed be to God do this Thirteenth day of January in the year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty One/Two make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say:-
I give and bequeath unto my sisters Mary Stone and Jean Cowen all my personal estate and effects whatsoever moveable and immovable goods and ready money debts or whatever effects in any way to be apportioned as belongeth and I also ordain make and constitute my said sisters my full co-executrixes of this my last will and testament they paying my debts and funeral expenses and I do publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said John Lawson have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
