This site is an ongoing project which came about after I was asked to transcribe 2 wills for one person. I thought what is it that most family historians of the future are going to have difficulty with? The answer will be the handwriting. This is also a common problem right now, but it doesn't have to be. Together we can make life easier for future generations of Family Historians.
I intend to place on this site transcripts of as many wills as is possible, freely available to all with information where the original can be found. I would also like to link these wills to their respective families via email addresses. Thus giving you another option of locating those distant cousins.
This will be my site for you and it needs your input. If you have original wills that can be scanned and sent to me for transcription, or actual transcripts then I will place those transcripts on this site. All transcripts must be accompanied with where the original can be purchased/copied. So if you have a will and would like it included please feel free to email it to me by clicking the email link below.
