In the Name of God Amen

I the undersigned Elizabeth De France daughter of Edward of the Parish of St Peter Port in the Island of Guernsey being at Present in health of Body and of fit and disposing mind thanks To God knowing that death is certain and the hour thereof is Uncertain have thought proper to make this my testament So as to make known my last will which is as follows first I recommend most humbly my soul to God supplicating him That at its departure from this _______ dwelling it may Please him to receive it in his celestial paradise and as to My body I recommend it to the Executor of this my testament That he may have it decently buried in a proper place and in a ____ becoming manner And as to the Goods Chattels & Effects which it has pleased God to grant me in this world I order & dispose thereof as follows First I give & bequeath to the poor of the said parish of St Peters Port five shillings sterling ____ I give & bequeath to Martin Nalder Son of Mr John Nalder deceased & of my cousin Anne Martin four pounds sterling And as to the remainder of my said Goods Chattels & Effects plate Si____ & flannels & generally all my moveables of whatever nature & in what Country soever they may be I give & bequeath it to the above said Anne Martin & to Elizabeth Lyndon or Martin my Cousins (the said Elizabeth Lyndon Martin wife Mr Peter Biouvance) to be divided between them in equal Portions And I want & appoint the said Mr Peter Biouvance To be the Executor of this my Testament revoking & annulling All ____ testaments or _______ that I might have made Before this day willing & understanding that this present Testament may have its full & _____ Effect ____ in Guernsey (Wherin ______ ______ is not in _____) this 10th day of the Month of February One Thousand Eight Hundred & Three In presence of the undersigned witness at my request- Elizabeth De France – Laurence Gallienne – a Peter Naut – Ro___ford___ By this present codicil I ratify and confirm ____ _________ Above & or the other side written & I give  _____ to Elizabeth ____ my Cousin widow of Mr John St ____ five pounds sterling Guernsey this 24th November 1806 – Elizabeth De France – John Arnold – Thomas Le Provost – witnesses

We Daniel Frances Durand Jeau & all aforesaid do approve & (having to this their right) the Testament & Codicil above written to be the Testament & last will of the late Elizabeth De France the testator in faith whereof the Seal from Guernsey to ____ _____ is set & affixed this nineteenth day of the month of March One Thousand Eight Hundred & eleven
